looks like light fluffy dry snow with no wind.  all I care about is the wind.  please no wind

looks like this will be a good snowfall, but hardly crippling around me.  the worst part of any storm is the first 2 hours before they start plowing, but I plan on taking the kids sledding later

An all-time-record of snow fell here in DC/NoVA, and we're not a Snow town.  Not sure what the "official" total will be, but ~28-30 inches where I am.

We are well and truly hosed when this happens.

With that said, snow successfully shoveled, cars clear, driveway-to-roadway open.

No heart attack (yet). Being a fat old bastard is no fun on days like this.

Feels a little like this:

nemo was worse, my wife went to work today

this country is getting so pussified

blizzard of '96 we went out and partied

some snow falls in 2015 and its red alert hide in the basement

this I agree with. In 96 I remember getting my butt down to 85 broad at 630 am like normal.  Now they close the roads down.

But the times are changing.
