Cam said, so IT MUST BE TRUE!!!!!

At his Wednesday pre-NFC Championship Game presser, Cam Newton said losing WR Stephen Hill (ACL) in training camp was a "big deal."

It's a surprising disclosure of Cam's feelings on a player who entered the NFL with big-time tools, but fizzled out with the Jets before tearing his ACL in Panthers camp last summer. And it's perhaps noteworthy for deep Dynasty leaguers. Hill is still only 24 years old, turning 25 in April. A restricted free agent, the Panthers can retain Hill at the cheapest possible RFA tender.

It's not completely outlandish to think that a big speed WR, albeit with terrible hands, couldn't make a few plays when paired with a big-armed QB like Cam.

This is particularly true when you consider that the best type of passing attack to pair with a heavy run game, like Carolina uses, is a vertical passing game.

And hell, just look at Ted Ginn. He's dropped tons of passes this year. But he's certainly also made some plays too.
