First off I want to say Thanks to Max and the Jets Nation staff, for allowing me to post this on here. I have been a Jets fans for over 35 years and a member of the forum for close to 10 years. I do not post on here often, but I do regularly visit the site to check in on what's new with the team and what my fellow fans have to say. To make a long story short, I have been a writer for many years and finally got around to starting a blog to share my opinions and incite on our New York Jets. I am sure that not everyone will agree with what I have to say, which is expected, but I do my best to put out a quality product that is enjoyable to read.

Thanks for your time and I apologize if this comes across as self-promoting. I look forward to sharing my insights with all of you and seeing what you think about the page and my blog articles, which can be found at https://nyjetsgreenblog.wordpress.com/ ... Here is the About Page from the site:

Born and raised on Long Island, I have been a Jets fan since I was about 5 or 6 years old (late 70's). I've always followed the team closely, all throughout the year, and even had the pleasure to share season tickets with some friends for about 5 years (between '97-'02). I also had the opportunity to attend numerous practices over the years, when the team was still at Hofstra. I love watching the games at home, or at a bar with friends, and I have missed only a handful of games in my life, all due to emergencies.

It has been quite an arduous task to remain faithful throughout all of the extreme disappointments in that time, but still, I remain aboard the Gang Green Express, enjoying the few and far between, triumphant moments. Call me a masochist. Call me a fool. Call me whatever you wish, but you can always call me a Jets fan. New to blogging, I am here to draw upon my extensive experience as a die-hard fan, and as a writer, to share with you my thoughts on the New York Jets.

Someone to consider in the middle rounds of the draft is Florida University’s Kelvin Taylor, son of former Jacksonville Jaguars’ all-time great RB, Fred Jackson. While he does not possess the level of skill demonstrated by his father, Kelvin plays larger than his 5’10, 205-pound frame with a hard-nosed attitude and displays a quick burst between the tackles as well as an ability to get to the outside. He should be there for the taking in the 4th or 5th round and would provide solid depth in the Gang Green backfield, with the potential to eventually take on a bigger role with the proper development.

Does Fred Jackson know he fathered a baby with Fred Taylor's wife? Good luck with this endeavor.
