People just make stuff up!!

I am Jets fan through and thorugh ...

But Eli Manning has been nothing but a class guy since he has been in NY, the idea that we have to make stuff up to bring him down is preposterous!!!

No one knows what Eli was thinking, not the reporters who started this and certainly no one out here on an internet message board!!!

Good Grief!!!

So you never went to a family function where you didn't want to be there.

A family function and rooting for your brother to lose a chamionship game that would soldify their family's greatness at the position are not remotely associated, but please explain why you can be so certain Eli wants his brother to lose

This begs the question. Do you hate your brother?

He was there for the anticipated Panthers blowout.

Next you're gonna say Eli told you so.

(clears throat) Speaking as an ex-quarterback myself (high school varsity 1997) - anytime my team scored a big touchdown I never could run down and celebrate - went straight to the sideline to discuss with the coach if we were going for 1 or 2 and to get everybody organized for the next thing.  It's a different mentality, a lot less fun but that's what I saw from Eli - plus he's a wet rag to begin with.

The Internet is a strange place. All of a sudden people are trying to make sense of or rationalize the Manning face? The guy looks like he's constantly thinking about anime porn because he's Eli Manning. That's why. Guy's a weirdo to the umpteenth degree and always has been.

And those qualities are the exact reasons why he's had success playing in NY.  Thousands of people have idiotically called for him to no longer be the starting QB at various times over the years.  He's received criticism for such criminal behavior as thinking he deserves to be paid elite QB money and voicing that opinion.  Through it all he just shows he doesn't give a sh*t, and has been doing the open-mouthed, staring into space thing into his mid-30's that teenagers do then typically grow out of by the tail end of their college days.  He doesn't care.  And that's why he's had success.

It's like having a stronger armed Ryan Fitzpatrick, every season.  Turnover prone, yes, but a gamer and a guy you can build around.

Like Peyton goes from Colt to Bronco, I wish Eli would follow the progression and go from Giant to Jet.

Where did you get all that from --- the internet or tv?
