Sunday Nighters are awful for the kids, get home at 12:30 if they're lucky. Monday and Thursday nighters are the worst games, ever, because not only do you have the same issue with kids having school the next day, but getting home from work, getting changed, grabbing the kids, driving back to the stadium, it's nearly impossible, have to leave work around 4:00 to make it work logistically and get a decent parking spot. One of these games a year, can live with it. But 3 in a 4 week span? And in the December cold? It's criminal. I'm a Woody Johnson fan but how he could accept this is ludicrous. I HATE night games -most have work the next day-the idea of getting home from 1-3 am might not be bad if you are in college but if you are an executive is less than ideal Secondly these night games are at a time when the potential for COLD is fairly certain-we had a mild winter last year but this year I doubt we get as lucky Lastly, night games means the trash fans that cant hold their beers have been drinking for hours and there will be fights all over the place-the Pats Turkey night game that we recently played was a like a war zone in there-terrible security and brawls all over the place-after that game I would never take a family member or female to a night game again-just friends that understand it may get ugly and they can handle themselves
raffyD
15 year STH here and I'm ok with the schedule. We've been a little spoiled the past few years with the lack of night games, last year we had mostly 1 pm games (and the weather was amazing all year). The way I look at it is the Monday night game just sucks, but we haven't hosted a Monday night game in a couple of years and I figured we were due this year anyway. Hopefully the warmer early Decembers continue and it's not raining icicles. Yes, my two tickets for that game are available at face and comes with a free parking pass. The Saturday night game is great, no problem with that at all. Get to tailgate, have a couple of beers, and sleep in Sunday. If it's cold wear clothes, light a fire or get one of those really cool heat blasters that connect to propane tanks and enjoy. It's football, a game generally played in the cold. The Sunday night game, like the Monday night game, I could do without. But it's the end of the Thanksgiving weekend and should make for a fun afternoon and evening. I have enough advance notice now and will just schedule a vacation day for Monday. Looking forward to another great year!

There is no place in North America that has similar traffic issues like those faced in the NY metropolitan area. When I lived on eastern LI, I usually did not get home until 2am after a MNF game - granted, that was back when the games started at 9pm. As for Edmonton, it actually has a larger population than most NFL cities!!!

Lot K Tailgaters
We have had some embarassing prime time games over the years. The Butt Fumble on Thanksgiving, Tim Brown torching Vance Joseph the Jets were down 45-0 at the end of the third quarter, the night fans lit Campbells' chicken soup hats on fire. We could have to experience 3 prime time disasters in a row at home. Tell me we have a Monday night game in September and a Saturday night game in December I'd live with it. This schedule is a slap across the face to the fans.

This schedule is a slap across the face to the fans. We've been embarrassed because for the most part we've trotted out some of worst collections of offensive players in the league. If Fitz resigns the offense will pick up right where they left off except it will be better! Geno got all the camp snaps last year, Fitz steps in, Gailey adds some new plays off the ones everyone already knows, Fitz gets acclimated to Forte. Powell knows the offense & the new RB is there to give Forte & Powell breathers & to close out games we're running the clock out. Jets offense was actually better than a lot of teams they will face this year. I think Clady (if healthy) is a huge upgrade over Dbrick the last 2 years. I loved Dbrick but he was on roller skates a lot the last 2 years, guys were depositing him into the QBs lap. I would bet anything that Breno is a backup or cut to this year. Breno was the other turnstile. While we are all lamenting our schedule, other teams fans look at the schedule & see a 2015, 10-6 team with some weapons. If I'm a fan of another team, I'm not taking lightly the fact the Jets have Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker & Matt Forte! On defense they see Sheldon Richardson, Leonard Williams, Darelle Revis, Calvin Pryor. The Jets have players, they're no pushover, especially if Fitz resigns. They were #1 in redzone offense, #1, in Chans 1st year! We're not rolling out Clyde Gates, Stephen Hill, David Nelson, Cumberland, Zack Stacey anymore. I'm going to make this claim about Matt Forte. If Fitz resigns, he will have a MONSTER season! Just look what Powell did in this offense when healthy! I've had Matt Forte 2 years in a row on my fantasy team, it's a PPR league. He is a f*cking STUD in PPR! Which means playing with our WRs, maybe the addition of Amaro, and having Powell to spell him, he will be open like 7/11, 24 hours A DAY! And Fitz knows this offense & his easy check downs. He rarely looked at oven mitt handed Ivory, Forte has AMAZING HANDS. I watched TONS of Bears games to check on Forte & I can't even begin to tell you how many times Cutler eschewed a wide open Forte in the flat to push the ball downfield. Cutler is the epitome of a gunslinger & look at the #s Forte still put up. Fitz is WAY more consevative & him and Gailey take their shots but I'm telling you guys Forte & Powell combo are going to be stick movers & frustrate defenses we play. Moving the sticks, being in 2nd, 3rd & short, TOP will make our very good defense even better. How about playing with some leads? How many times did we do that in Rex last 4 years? Macc has to resign Fitz & I believe they will to bridge to 2017 & a QB change. This is a very good roster, as good or better than a lot of the teams we'll play next year. Sure there are holes but every team has them. Plus we found out Revis played injured, Skrine was hurt very early & played through (he's a tough little guy), Gilchrist played well, Pryor might be a monster, Leo will be better, we got more speed in free agency. Our special teams might go from WORST to middling, hell, the STs cost us 2 games last year vs Eagles & Bills, your talking could have won the f*cking division @ 12-4! Like the great Jimmy V said, "Never give up". Anything can happen in this crazy league!

He already knows that. He either plays for the Jets or he retires. Why would he subject himself to playing for a team like the 49ers? A rebuilding team with hardly any talent. He might as well check himself into a hospital Ward. I bet he had more fun playing for the Jets last year & being in NY then anywhere he's ever played. You could see it in his eyes. He LOVED being part of this team. I think he comes back & settles in for 8 million, we'll see how it transpires.

BRONX DUDE
As a long time STH thru 2011 the best way to go now is to PICK AND CHOOSE your games on Stub Hub. I have never had a problem with the EBAY owned company. I get to see the game at seats around the stadium including the lower bowl. MOST of the times the tickets are below list. WHY FREEZE your butts? WHY buy exhibition games that are meaningless? JETS JETS JETS ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
