A Couple Of Surprises

I'm shocked at two things as we head to the draft:

- The potential fall of Myles Jack because a team may not be able
to sign him to a "second" contract.  Football is a sport where one
play can end a career, can a team be that worried about a second
contract and pass up on a dynamic LB???  I hope everybody passes
and he falls to #20

- The crazy rise of Leonard Floyd, a player who has the "measurables"
but didn't have great production:

He reminds me of the "great" Dion Jordan who was a tremendous bust:

The funny thing is, as perhaps the only Myles Jack doubter (injury aside) in the whole world, where the hell is his production?

1 career sack, 4 career ints, tackle stats that are not earth shattering, only one forced fumble.

Yeah I do not get the Myles Jack hype either.

Because he wasn't asked to be an edge rusher in college. Most "fans" just assume every Lber should get tons of sacks or else they suck. Jack managed to average 6 yards per carry on almost 70 carries in college. The kid is just a freak. And not a Vernon Gholston freak, but an Football player freak that can do anything you ask him to do. If he is healthy, he will be a stud. Don't get fooled by the lack of sacks.
