Let's talk about something fun ... tailgating

Too much fighting going on, it always happens at this point in time. People who are on different sides of a topic, are talked out. Mini camp is coming soon, then training camp will be here before we know it. So.....let's talk about something fun.

Tailgating.

This is kind of random but since it is backyard BBQ season, has anything  backyard BBQ wise impacted \ improved your tailgate?

For me, I am thinking about bringing this griddle that I bought. It folds up nice and omelets in the parking lot could be cool.

I organized my backyard so that I have all the spices and rubs for chicken etc in a containers. As well as containers for all the other supplies. It will make a nice portable system for tailgating.

Random I know, but it is the little things in life (HEY NOW) that make me happy.

Cue Sar talking about how only fat burping and farting slobs tailgate. And how there should be more non-tailgating lots. And how only upper deck broke non-psl holders tailgate. And how he's tired of walking through glass in the lot and how he's tired of hearing offensive language.

I have to admit, after listening to what SAR I told me about a week ago, I have to say the guy is right. People are obsessed with this dude.

so years ago my buddy was grilling at a jets game and I told him we were going in soon, put the fire out, tip the grill over and give it time to cool

nope

he grills right up to when we were going in, and decides a safe place to leave it is under his car.....

he was very lucky all that happened is it was stolen, his car didn't erupt into flames

drugs are bad, mkay ?

Try to find some plastic fiesta ware at a garage sale better than paper plates or the despoable plastic ware also dishwasher safe. Dinner plates, desert plates. Salad and soup bowls and coffee mugs were avalible also no chipping. Stuff was great for tailgating had a complete setting for 8 myself. Also the Colman grill to go was great no charcoal used a 1lbs propane bottle for heat quick cool down.

Got my new tailgate grill from Costco.  My other one had seen it's day and I junked it at the Patriots game.  I got another Coleman Road Trip Grill but this time the premium version.  Looks nice but I haven't taken it out of the box yet.

A few months back someone shot me a deer and I have some venison hot dogs, sausage, bacon and steaks.  Some I'll eat now and some will save for football season.

You cook with spices and rubs instead of sauces?

Very nice!

I have an outdoor pizza oven (mini one) but I can't keep the cheese and sauce outside.  So I just keep the dry rubs out there. :)

How does the faucet work? Water supply?

Well if it is int he yard the hose would work. But at the stadium I don't think there will be a water supply available. So it will be more of a food prep kind of table I think. I will have to wash the utensils when I get back home. :)

I just merged this, sorry, for some reason I started two threads by accident.

It is so funny that you said this. I am actually going to install a basic outdoor sink. I want to be able to use plates and wash them and the utensils when we are done. Without going inside. Going inside sucks lol.

I have a bunch of Jets plates that I use at tailgates. I want to get more.
