Hello. The Committee has held their annual meeting to name the 2016 JN Captain and, after many heated debates, we have come to a decision. We'd like to thank the many fine candidates we had his year, and we honor their contributions to these forums. However, there can be only one Captain per year, and The Committee is confident we've tabbed the perfect candidate. The new Captain has been notified and we await his acceptance of his/her crown. Stay tuned.

I don't believe anybody is worried about the crown, it's the iniitation

Without further ado,

 

The JN Captain selection process is arduous, and it's not so much about rewarding any specific poster as it is about finding a poster who can bear the weight of the hopes of all of JetsNation. What The Committee attempts to do is gauge the temperature of the team, assess their chances of success, identify their specific challenges, and pinpoint a candidate capable of guiding the entire fanbase through those challenges. As always, the competition was competitive, with many nominees who we felt could man the role successfully. With all that said, we've decided that the perfect poster to lead us this year is @Larz. Please join us in wishing him the best of luck, and be prepared to scream at him if the 2016 Jets fail to meet expectations.

*Captain* @Larz  I just want to say that some of these s-holes are going to try to blame you for the team's record. Lets be real, you don't have any control over that.

But you DO have control over how many asterisks you place in the official game thread Titles... and that DOES control the teams record.  

Despite what others will tell you, there is no pre-determined number of asterisks that is going to get the job done, so just choose the asterisk count that works best for you.  Thanks in advance for not ******* it up.
