I said it the second we missed that pass before we missed the FG...game over. and Todd Bowles needs to get his head out of his ass. Swing passes all game long. The team has to win with moderate Qb play, excellent defense and good specials. But Fitz did nothing to overcome the mistakes the Jets made and made numerous of his arms. He was terriblty inaccurate today and it is celar even the Jets coaching staff knows he has zero ability to stretch the field He can throw a screen and manage the game OK, but he is a pretty big liability. And here's the thing: The Jets essentially run an offense to hide the QB already. I see no reason Petty would not outperform Fitz with the weapons we have. Alex Smith, the checkdown king,threw higher than 5.4 YPA in all 16 of his 2015 games! In other words, Fitz threw for less through the air today than Alex Smith did in all 16 games last year throwing to Maclin and that 1 TE Kansas City has.
