Brandon Marshall..

It's been 3 games now, and for whatever reason, Brandon Marshall doesn't feel like he's nearly the unstoppable monster he was last year. Last season, it felt like even with double coverage or bad quarterback play, he was destroying everybody. Where has that been this year so far? I understand he got hurt last week and he clearly wasn't 100% today.. but even in the entire Bengals game / most of the Bills game, it doesn't feel like the same player we had on the field last year.

he's doubled or tripled every play b/c they know fitz will still force the ball to him.  use robbie anderson more.

Fitz had no problem forcing the ball to him last year despite multiple defenders being around him though. That's why I'm confused.

Or when he went over 100 yards vs the Bills last week?.

Think it may be tied to the little fact that Fitz has sucked?

Fitzpatrick is the same quarterback as last year. He had a great game against the Bills last week, and a horrific game yesterday. So far, all I can remember from Marshall's end is a bunch of bad drops. He hasn't had a real impact play like we saw last year. Felt like every game last year he was throwing people around.

they had an easier sched last year, and teams have had a full offseason to prepare.

We have the same QB, the same head coach, the same OC, and it's not like getting double covered is some new thing. He got doubled last year.

They figured the jets out. Fitz seems to think as long he throws Brandon's way having 5 defenders around him wont matter.

they studied fitz and know where he's going with the ball.  vs. buffalo he fooled them b/c he went early to enunwa and left the buffalo d confused.

And he threw for 70 yards in the 2nd half against the Bengals, under 60%, under 200 for the game.

As far as Fitz being the same QB as last year, someone posted his numbers from the last game a year ago through KC.  5 TDs, 10 INTs, terrible in every other statistic.  One thing about Fitz, there is no consistency to his game.  Was Marshall the problem last season when against max, bills & Houston he grabbed 44, 23 & 47 yards in those 3 games?

Waiting for Fitz's soft passes to reach him must feel like an eternity.

What QB was Green talking about when he called Fitz a strong armed QB who could make every throw on the field yesterday?  Is he an idiot? Or does he think we are?

Marshall was injured in those three games. He's not the issue.

hip injury in camp.  he admitted he was taking toradol just to play in the buff game

The fact is that in three games so far, he's faced better secondaries than what he faced all of last season. This year he's faced corners like Dre Kirkpatrick, Dary/Gilmore, Marcus Peters, etc. Last year the Fitz/Marshall duo took people by surprise and he faced some of the worst secondaries in the league. When the Jets beat the Patriots last year, he faced Ryan Logan, who kind of sucks, because McCourty was injured. This year teams are focused on him, that's why Enunwa leads in receptions

Just quit, you play the schedule you r given, stop already.

And you play with the team you are given and for the coach you have, even if he's clueless .  How do you excuse a Veteran QB playing in a system he set a franchise record for TDs in just 1 year prior throwing 6 ints in a game when you supposedly improved the talent around him ?
