Enunwa is a WR/H-back ASJ is a TE/H-back. Davis is a TE/Nothing.

Bostick is behind Enunwa. ASJ would replace Davis...and Bostick I suppose. Davis was in on 80% of the snaps, and Bostick over 20%. ASJ would not effect Enunwa at all.

Davis is a blocking TE who occasionally is a receiver and half the time he drops the ball anyways. In a similar role in a way like Tommy Bohanon had in the past. Bohanon was a starter and played in every game but they decided to cut him and divest themselves of the FB position. Davis is a starter too and has been in on almost every snap this season,. So they think he has a role just not a glamorous role. The Jets actually were trying in the off season to sign.Jermaine Gresham who is a blocker and a receiving TE but he signed with Arizona.

When I say Davis is a TE I mean he lines up on the line as a traditional TE, or a Y. Yes sometimes they use him as a decoy. Last year he even caught 2 passes. ASJ is about as good of a blocker as Davis. Enunwa is a good blocker but they would never ask him to line up inline. They use blocking techniques that take years to master.

Amaro never has done this, nor Bostic. The only great receiver to block well inline is Gronk. That's why he such a mismatch. That's what ASJ is supposed to be. That's his potential.
