It is painfully obvious he is learning the game for the first time right now and is only beginning to learn what a fumble is. We need a few different posters here to sit down with him and have a discussion, using small words to explain to him how fumbling is so much worse than not fumbling. If he doesn't seem to understand, bench him. Nothing cures a player's fumbling like getting benched and not touching the football in the first place. That'll teach him. And then he'll know.
