Rex is a coach that is good enough to get them to 8-9 wins a season but unfortunately, he can't win the big one.

Plus, he finally has a quarterback. That helps.

Yeah, right.  He pretty much gets what a coach can get out of the talent he has.  8-8 with a rookie Geno Smith throwing to David Nelson and Clyde Gates.  How many more was he supposed to get out of that group?  He was in underdog in each of those playoff games and still won most of them.  Did he lose a playoff game he was supposed to win?

The Bills were decimated by injuries last year and they still finished 8-8.  And Tyrod Taylor sucks.  He threw for 125 yards today and the Bills still won.

This is where Rex gets them to double-down on their investment in him. After that, the real circus comes to town.

Exactly. The good news is that the Pegulad keep him for five more seasons and he keeps giving them just enough to make them th No that success is just a season away

Ehhhhhhh - I loved Rex when he was here and it was semi-sad to see Rex go but he has proven himself to be an average to below average coach. He was definitely dragged down by Idzik but he had a large role in molding the team that took a nosedive his final years here.

P.S. Tyrod Taylor is exactly what Rex needs. He is accurate, can stretch the field, and is very safe with the football. He's a not a world-beater, but he's a solid quarterback.

He's not accurate.  He throws a great deep ball and that's it.

And no, he's not what Rex needs.  Rex needs a good QB.  That's what every coach needs, actually.

Um, he's got an 87.3 rating and a 63.8 completion percentage. Do you guys actually look at the statistics before you diss a guy?

That's because they don't let him sling it.  Do you actually watch a guy play or do you just look at statistics?

Completion percentage is a pretty good measure of accuracy, Yeah, I've seen him. He's no world beater, but I'd take him over our guy any day of the week. He WINS.

He posted 20 touchdowns through the air, 4 rushing touchdowns, and 6 interceptions last year. He also has a 64% completion percentage and has a 63% completion percentage for his career. Accurate.

Do you think Rex wants a quarterback to sling it or do you think he wants a quarterback to play it safe, make plays when needed, and lead the offense?

We know what he's about. Tyrod is exactly what he always wanted.

No, he's not accurate.  They hide him.  He's a one read QB and they give him lots of easy throws, which gives him a high completion percentage.  He only had 380 attempts last year.

Geno Smith had a 71% completion percentage at WVU.  There was a reason for that.
