Can this dude just go away? Go screw up another team and take them to the bank too but just go away.  Great job by the defense today.

I'm confused.

1. Did you want him to quit the team and hand back his paycheck after he was benched?  Would you do that if you were him?

2. Did you want the staff to play a clearly unready (and inactive) Petty before he has time to be prepared?  Is Fitz to blame for Petty being inactive?

3. Were you rooting for a loss today after Geno got hurt?

4. Are rooting for us to lose out for draft picks?

Seems Fitz did the best he could.  He sat, was needed, played, scored enough to win and we won.

Why are you so seemingly disappointed in this win today?

To everyone who says Fraudpatrick "led this team to a win yesterday," did anyone notice that the coaching staff finally smartened up and wouldn't let him throw the ball in the red zone? There's a reason for that.

There are multiple reasons for that.

1. We're built to win on Defense, with the Run, and with no Turnovers.  Not Ryan "Air" Fitzpatrick passing from the 2 yard line.

2. We signed Powell and Forte to provide a solid run game, which includes scoring TD's in the Red Zone.

3. Fitz has played like sh*t in the Redzone in 2016.

4. Chan has called plays for sh*t in the Redzone in 2016.

This was what we SHOULD have been doing all year, from the very start.  Nice to see, at 1-5, Chan finally figured it out and Forte finally got a bit productive.

Defense and the Run.  We have it, we'll win.  We don't, we'll lose.

Same as last year.
