Romo?

This offense won't be this good again for a long time. With the way the cowboys are playing and Dak has taken over Jerry Jones would do anything to make the playoffs, That dline needs an upgrade. We let petty rock until Romo is healthy go into the draft and if we're high enough leave with Fournette. Romo Fournette Forte Decker Marshall ASJ. Im with that

You can stand on an ACL.  You can run in a straight line with one, it stabilizes, not gives strength.  But if you cut, without that stabilizer, your knee will shred.

I was taking a shot the people calling him a pussy for not going back into the game.

Nice job by the staff having him STANDING ON THE ******* SIDELINE after it happened. Jesus Christ.

Said it elsewhere, but that did nothing to make the ACL worse.

I tore mine, rather horrible, a number of years back.  I too could stand and walk no problem afterwards.

What was done, was done when he was hit and his knee crumpled under him.

The standing on the sideline played no part, it's irrelevant.

The Fitztragic curse:

St. Louis Rams - Jamie Martin injured

Cincinnati Bengals - Carson Palmer injured

Buffalo Bills - Trent Edwards injured

Tennessee Titans - Jake Locker injured

Houston Texans - Ryan Mallett injured

New York Jets - Geno Smith injured

Hey maybe we can trade Fitz to the pats.

If Ryan Fitzpatrick struggles like he's been is Bryce Petty healthy enough to play.

He's been practicing again for a couple of weeks, so you have to imagine they think he's ready.  Geno's injury also pretty much guarantees that his practice reps will see a significant increase.  So while Fitz will be the guy for now, Petty will certainly be the next man up if/when it comes to that.

Exactly.  Standing on it does nothing.  If he jogs and cuts, it'll tear a big chunk of cartilage out.

There is not a Facepalm image massive enough for what this Jets season has been......

Amazing.

Best of luck to Geno Smith in his next stop.....as long as it's in the NFC.

WHAT?!?!?!

I WOULD LOVE to face against Geno Smith in the AFC knowing not only would he give us a win if we faced him, but he'd probably tear down another AFC opponent at the same time. DOUBLE WIN!

I think you missed my point.

I wish him luck (i.e. to do well) at his next stop in the NFC.

If he's in the AFC, he is competition, and I do not want him to do well because that's bad for the Jets.

Never wish injury on a player, but let's be honest- this is good news for this organization. There was no real reason for Geno to sniff the field for the Jets... and if Fitz hadn't imploded time and time again, Geno wouldn't have. He is a FA in 2017 and not part of Mac's plans.

It's Petty time. Maybe not this week, but it's coming. And with 3 QBs, both Petty and Hack will start seeing additional reps. If Fitz goes back in and continues his bad play, it's finally time to see what the kids have.

Some thought he would sign as the back-up for the 1st 4 games while Brady was out. I say we could still trade him to Pitt for a 7th rounder

Does this make him the Madden of backup QBs??

And while he's been here Geno has been injured not once, but twice!
