Jones’ return should come as no surprise as starter Erin Henderson is expected to miss the remainder of the season for undisclosed reasons and back-up Bruce Carter left Sunday’s game with an injury as well. This works just like normal injured reserve, so Henderson's season is likely over. The NFI list sometimes applies to players who sustain an injury away from football. But in this situation, Henderson is not injured, according to coach Todd Bowles, who spoke briefly about the situation after Sunday's win over the Ravens. "Non-disclosed injury," Bowles said. "We'd rather keep that private right now." When pressed, Bowles said Henderson's situation is a "non-injury." And then Bowles made himself clearer, saying, "It's not an injury." As much as i love Mangold it is time for us to shed ourselves of his contract and get younger on the o-line. This year we need a new center, lt and rt.
