The steelers go out and score. but Sanchez didn't respond until the second half. You can't go the SB with an offense that doesn't show up.

As for him being better than Fitz that's wishful thinking. Geno isn't better either. Fitz is hugely flawed but he's a starter and those other guys aren't.

we had some big penalties that set drives back.  Pitt controlled the clock, our D set the tone early and finished us off late.

Fitz is a backup who became a starter to injury and he will be a backup again soon.  In 114 starts his teams have won 45 times.  In 72 starts mark's teams have won 37 times not including 4 road playoff wins.  there's a reason no one wanted Fitz when they could have had him w/o any compensation via trade.

You said it yourself he's started 114 games that's the dictionary definition. That and several teams paid him starter level money, before the season began (i.e. taking injuries out of it).

Looking back, he's more of a starter than Sanchez or Geno. Is he good, hell no but he starts.

looking at that play the Steelers rushed 6 for 5 blockers there's definitely someone open. Sanchez couldn't beat the blitz that's on Sanchez.

You talk about the 9 minute drive ok and what does Sanchez do right after that? Nothing. They couldn't put up points until the 2nd half

bottom line you can't go to Super Bowl by not using the QB and hiding him. The QB had to make plays and he didn't.

The Steelers defense was extremely well rested series after long Roethlisberger series.  The Jets offense could never get in rhythm.

We'd beaten them a month earlier on the same field.  They made adjustments.  Rex never altered a gameplan.  It was over before it began.

that QB made plays in every playoff game he played in, he was a major reason we made it as far as we did.  we were a D first time like all the Manning SBs that were led by their Ds and unfortunately our D's didn't show up in the title games but Mark made plays in each postseason game.  he was not why we didn't reach either SB.

People forget that he led us back 5 times that season from fourth quarter deficits due to our collapsing defense, the same defense that plagues us this very day.  Harris, Revis, same cast of chokers.

Jets go 6-10 if Mark doesn't lead us back against Houston, Denver, Cleveland, Detroit, and Pittsburgh.  All this talk about how Mark was "carried" by the defense, as a rookie in '09 maybe, in '10 no way, what a load of pro-Rex garbage, you'd think now that he's been run out of town some would let it go.

mostly starting as a backup and coming in as injury replacement.  he has only had 2 or 3 years where he went into a season as a starter.  he's a quality backup, nothing more.  if he hast to play full time his team is in trouble.

that Houston comeback was miraculous, with NO timeouts needing a TD starting at our 28.  that throw to Braylon which set up the Td was as beautiful a throw as you will ever see.

Some of those other comebacks were great too.  Down 10 late at Detroit, buying time and giving JHolmes a chance at Denver, the Cle game where Folk was awful and D blew another late lead and the Indy…on the road…in the playoffs.
