Jets final playing-time stats: Tight End — Austin Seferian-Jenkins (653 snaps/63 percent), Eric Tomlinson (411/40), Will Tye (101/10), Neal Sterling (61/6) and Jordan Leggett (0/0). Analysis: 2017 marked The Return of the Tight End in the Jets' offense. They combined for 68 catches, tied for 17th — a major improvement over last year. Leggett, a fifth-round pick, never got on the field because of a knee injury.

The Jets have lost starting TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins to the Jaguars (two years, $10 million). The Jets were in the ballpark, I'm told, but they didn't want to go that high. It seems odd, considering he's only 25 and caught 50 passes last season. Why did GM Mike Maccagnan play hardball? He drafted a Seferian-Jenkins-like player last year in Jordan Leggett, and he wants to give him a chance. He hasn't played a regular-season snap, so we'll see. Current depth chart: Leggett, Eric Tomlinson and Neal Sterling.

Why?

Because...instead of posting nothing but links in her own thread can't be done in the thread already talking about our pick, she (for some reason) has to bump her own thread vaguely alluding to the same subject.

Not cool on a day where threads are already popping up every couple minutes. Bad form. Clutters the board with irrelevant garbage on one of the busiest days.

I thought posting links was shunned upon here.
