Hobson was particularly rough, he went from starting here to out of football I would argue with people that defended him like he was borderline pro bowl level. Hobson was so bad it was damn near funny to me. Yet people loved him and declared he'd kill us in NE. Good for him, but that's not a reason to keep him forever when he was bitching about not being in the team's plans to be a #1-#2 starter for the 2011 season and beyond. You're wrong. Starting 13 games for Carolina in 2014, he caught 1 TD pass on the season. Coincidentally (or maybe not coincidentally) that was a big setback year for Cam. After Cotchery was relegated back out of the starting lineup, then Cam's numbers shot back up and they went to the Super Bowl. Cotchery had barely 2000 yds total in his 5 post-Jets seasons, and after his release here he never again caught 50 passes in a season.
