Dudfield now hurtt?

We might have to scour the high school ranks to find someone dumb enough to join Bowles' staff.

Studesville only interviewed no offer was made.

Marvez is the only media member that reported Hurtt to Jets. All others that followed based it on his report.

Cimini, to his credit, did his own research.

You know what I find humorous . The 2 guys who use the name of the player considered the greatest Jet of all time are the biggest Jet haters on the internet . Both persons hate everything Jet from the owner to the grounds keeper .

I know nothing our Jets do ever makes any sense.  This just seems off the charts that he does not have a complete coaching staff put together especially at the OC position and QB coach before senior bowl week.  What happened to the stories that Bowles name in the league circle has so much respect and admiration?  As a DC yes, head coach maybe not so much?  I'd even ask Brian Billik if he wants a shot OC to resurrect his career.

Just Strange

#Dolphins had interest in Hurtt last year as DL coach. He coached #Bears DL in 2014. Multiple teams had interest in him this year.

Blame Woody.

Bowles did not have the option to get a prove it year with a different staff.  He was kinda stuck with what he rode in with, as now nobody is going to join him.

Don't you think Woody gave Bowles a coaching budget?  How do you think it compares to other teams?  Where do you think Kacy comes in in DC compensation?  Bowles as HC?  Gailey may have been paid well.

Look at what the Broncos just did-After hiring Vance Joseph as HC (a former DC, by the way), they brought back Mike McCoy as HC AND Bill Musgrave as QBC.  That is serious wattage to develop the QBs there.  That is what you need to do if you are drafting young QBs and trying to develop them.  The Broncos could theoreitcally sign Romo or Taylor short term to take advance of theri Defense, etc. while trying to develop the other QBs, but at least they are trying to develop. them.

There is more to come here out of Florham Park.  Something is rotten on the coaching staff.  CWJ is going to need to step in, write some checks and fix it.

Writing cheques is not the issue.

We have a team in disarray,  the defense were laughably bad last year, and the vets were the worst part of it.

The offense has no QB at all, the oline needs  work.

The team is against the cap and will have to shed players.

There is a perception that this is a prove it year for Bowels.

If a coordinator has options the Jets will be last on the list and for good reasons.
