If Bowles had the 2015 Quinn did Jet fans would've been calling for him to be fired
last year.  I know most "big football fans" won't know this but:

- ATL started the season 5-0 with a real QB

- They then went 3-8 the rest of the year and missed the playoffs

Are you observing that Quinn progressed while Bowles regressed?

No. I am observing that Matt Ryan and Kyle Shanahan had a great season. And the Falcons took advantage of a weak NFC field (11-5 as a 2 seed?)

What if he made the Super Bowl the next year?

No. In fact Quinn's defense sucked this year.

Maybe, but it's a young unit. Three rookie starters. Four second year starters. Seems like a pretty solid achievement to me.

Our defense is young too. It's going to be even younger next year

Yup. And, above all, I'm hoping it gets much younger next year. And smarter and more dynamic.

But none of this has anything to do with what Quinn has done in Atlanta.
