Thank God for family obligations that keeps my mind off of Jets. I am a junkie. I need my Jets. Damn. Seriously depressed now thinking I won't see the Jets again until August. To fill the void, I pile all of my prized possessions into the middle of my living room, set them on fire, then stare at the blaze, arms folded, like a brain dead, helpless Todd Bowles. Then I write out checks to "CASH" for $1000, pretend they're fourth round picks, and throw them out of my ninth floor window to grateful passerby below who can't believe their luck. Ohio State NY Jets fan Posted February 19, 2017 Share Posted February 19, 2017 I do not miss it at all, weekends are great with plenty to do; family, friends, JetNation, hangovers, work and honey-do projects, I was done (like the Jets) well before the end of the season, followed by the giant playoff boat party, pats* stroll past brock and injured steelers and the SB collapse - I have not watched NFL network in a month and have the lowest interest in the NFL in over a decade (even dropped out of FF this year). I will follow the combine and the draft but expect it will be unwatchable through at least the start of next season, pats* will probably get a 1st for Jimmy G and the cycle will continue, not much hope for our Jets next season so suggest you get outside more, learn to ; golf, hike, boat, fish, hunt, etc. or I am sure there is a casino or OTB close if you prefer indoor life, hockey games are good live or you can go back to baseball in the spring, if you must have football I suggest that you find a college team or two, that will be the best source of football until Goodall is gone. As for the Jets, they are in the middle ages and until a big tuna rights the ship, Jets football will not help your weekends for many years to come... unless... the Jets draft Watson at 6 - then they might drag me back in again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
