Pocic or Elflein?

Assume for a moment that the Jets plan to upgrade all pieces of the OL.  Even though they signed Wesley Johnson to a 1 year deal, they should consider these 2 for C. I think Pocic can also play at either Guard spot while Elf is a liitle underszed for G, although he has played there some.

Pocic is 6'6", 310, pretty tall for a C but he can kick out to G and play well there when needed..  Elf is 6'3" 306.  Both players showed tremendous leadership, from what Ive read and either would be a terrific addition to the OL.

If it came down to one of them, which one would you choose for the Jets, the LSU C or the Ohio State C?

Also, will Morton run more of a power scheme or a zone scheme on the OL?

There is a good breakdown about the run game principles that SF ran under Harbough when Morton was there and it was definitely both power and zone (the article was from a month or so ago).

Personally id prefer Elfien simply because he seems more versatile and if the biggest knock on him is strength, that is something he can easily improve on while hopefully having a "redshirt" year behind wes johnson.

And Pocic is on the tall side for a C.  Could be out-leveraged.  But Pocic has played well at all positions on the line, including tackle when called upon.  He brings versatility to the table.  IMO, the Jets need one of these guys in addition to a OT.

My secret wish is that the jets trade down to be right above or a couple of picks above the Giants and take Ramczyk or Robinson there and use the extra 2nd and thirds they will get to fill other holes.  If they get a high 2nd rounder, they could grab Ramczyk or Cam with the low 20's 1st round pick and then take Engram at 2.7 and the best CB or Edge rusher with the acquired new 2nd rounder.

not a fan of tiny TE...why not just get a WR? (engram)

not a fan of Ramczyk - his ceiling seems to be average RT
