Will likely be corner or edge.

3rd round hopefully Godwin and a TE.

This is a 2 year plan.  They are trying to improve talent.  QB is a draft pick or FA next year year.

Adams was the best talent plug.   At worst case the Jets play Pryor and Adams.  Draft John Johnson in round 5.

How does Mac and Bowles getting fired in January a part of a 2 year plan?

The poll is flawed as it forced me to pick a defensive player.

I don't care who falls to us in the 2nd, we better go offense. Cook, kamara, Zay Jones, juju, shaheen or leverett, or one of the OL still on the board. A few will drop to us. We have to like one of them.

With that said, here comes a corner back!!!

6 players before we pick. Packers, Hawks, Jags, Bears, Rams, Chargers, and then Jets. Available players:

Cook, Robinson, Willis, Cunningham, King, Lamp, Melifonwu, Wilson, Awuzie, Williams, Rivers, Kizer, Baker, Schuster, Zay Jones, Dawkins, Bowser, Samuel.

Who are the teams before us taking and what's our pick?????

Or just the highest rated player...Bowles can always just convert him to CB.

I remember Rex Ryan trying to convert Antonio Allen to CB. But I missed when Todd Bowles tried that.

A couple of scouting sites mentioned rumblings about converting Adams to a CB because they love his athleticism (not Jets related, just in general) but I would rather leave him at safety instead of trying to make changes.

Do you remember that it was done because there were no other CB's after two got season-ending injuries?

Bowles only played one of his most talented defensive players out of position which saw his production, and therefore his trade value, plummet.

If packers pass on Cook then good chance he'll be there for Jets. I almost don't want him to be there because Mac will pass

I get the impression that the Packers would take Mixon before Cook.

what does that tell you about Cook?

Glenn this thread is about what the Jets are going to to in the 2nd round. I was hoping they would draft a CB. You should just start another thread for your Bowles bashing. I didn't blast Rex, I simply answered your comment about moving a player to CB. I don't remember Bowles moving a player to CB. I am assuming it was a bad joke that missed on your part.

I remember the situation with Rex well. it was actually a good move trying Allen out there, he really had no choice. It didn't work but it was worth the shot.
