varjet
Unless Decker restructures he should either be cut or put on IR. Tough to cut Peake for a one year injured guy. they need to find someone to replace Dozier Pennell for McClendon We need an ILB. Middleton or Martin for Miles Jones seems more practice squasd

I tho Dakota did surprisingly well at the end of the season there in place of Winters also looks like they have been trying to convert him to center starting last offseason I put Harris there for lack of any other body right now but he seems like an over achiever who may do well on STs
JETSfaninNE
Swap Patton with Peake and the offense looks pretty close I think. I think this Connor Harris kid will be on the 53 personally. Same with Middleton over Miles. I'd be surprised if Miles makes it through TC and PS without injury.
JohnnyLV
Peake makes it. Forte is a surprise cut. Think we may deal Decker for like a conditional 5th something like that. Doubt Pryor makes it to the roster.

A guy that I feel like we should consider at FS is actually Marcus Williams. He obviously has ball skills but is inconsistent at the corner spot, however when the play is in front of him his really good. His other problem is tackling though. Cant be a safety and you're not a sure tackler. Still, I would like to see Marcus Williams take a crack at FS.
LockeJET
Decker wont be on the roster. As soon as he is healthy enough to pass a physical he will be traded or released. Still a chance Richardson is traded for a late pick next year.

They like Peake and drafted 2 WRs in premium rounds. It would appear to be that Decker does not make it. Macc got fairly lambasted for keeping Breno on the roster on IR first and watched him not even contribute with a sizeable cap hit. I don't think the Jets do that again. This is a rebuilding, young team. Decker is a good guy, but his health, age and meddling should see him out the door. Use his money for Enunwa. I actually think he will be one of the 1st to go on defense if they need a roster spot I kept him because of experience along with Skrine experience I dont expect mush from the 2 new guys but 1 of them could surprise making him expendable. They also have Roberts who I think is better than Burris but I gave Burris benefit of doubt because I think he will improve. Also having the better safeties behind him allows him to play what he does best and I think that is Press
Beerfish
Williams is a bit of a liability in coverage but one thing he provides that has been sadly lacking on this d over the last few years is that he creates turnovers on a consistent basis.

The Jets have a young, completely unproven team that is still devoid of talent in certain positions. They could do surprisingly well, or really really bad. It depends on chemistry, injuries, QB play, how the young talent develops and how the young role players/depth guys contribute. I'm not expecting much but this team can go 8-8 and make a push for a playoff spot or it can go 2-14.

His draft was abysmal. He squandered several positions of need to take more players in areas we really didn't even need and he grossly ignored higher rated players in positions that were need.
