Christian Hackenberg, the future nobody is talking about

Good lord football needs to be back...

Its just been one big circular conversation about Schrodinger's quarterback. Until the 2017 season opens, we can't know whether he's a growing QB or one beyond repair, and until that point its like he's both at once! Its a HackenParadox!

Allen Robinson had his best season at PSU with Hack as an 18 year old starter.  20 more receptions, 400 more yards.  But it was Robinson who was totally responsible for Hacks rookie season.

And of course the obvious, that O'Brien left PSU and Franklin changing the offense to a spread offense that Hack wasnt suited to play had nothing to do with it.

But hey, that was too obvious and doesnt put enough blame on a current Jet.  Losers need targets

So you think Allen Robinson leaving college had nothing to do with Hack's play sucking afterwards?  What a coincidence Allen Robinson was somehow able to still be good in the NFL after leaving the great Hackenberg

Look...if you are going to keep using common sense, rational thoughts and critical thinking when you quote me then we both might get banned from this site.  At least throw in a little lunacy like the SOJF's here so we look like we fit in.

It's common sense a guy who had below 60% completion in college and crappy throwing motion will fix both those things playing way better competition in the NFL

If this was the case, why didn't Robinson help Mcgloin similarly?

No i dont.  WRs dont make catches happen on their own, someone has to throw the ball to them.  Facts are facts, AR had his best season, by far, catching passes fro Hack.  But you want AR to get credit for creating Hack.

Only you would not get that the entire offense was drastically changed the following year to a system everyone knows didnt suit Hacks pro style game.  But keep insisting that it was AR and wondering why no one agrees with you

Okay. But please remember this. Like seriously don't forget it. Because it is important.

The Jets will not select a QB in the 1st round of the 2018 NFL draft. Because Christian Hackenberg will be the 2018 opening day starter for the Jets.

It is right there. All you have to do is see it.

Let me know when you all see it.

See? lunacy speaks up...

oh btw...they will not be fixed "while" playing way better competition. He like every other QB coming in the league will be coached up in the ff season, mini camp, training camp  etc to address these and any other deficiencies prior to the season beginning.

It's going to be so funny when McCown is announced the starter

Funny?  It will be one of the lowest of low moments in NY Jets history it will prove Maccagnan/Bowles have no clue and that we still don't have a decent QB.

No worries, not happening. Hack attack will be in full effect preseason and he will start the season. Enjoy the ride.

Well people are talking about him, but not in the context of him being the future. A good long positive future for Christian and the NY Jets.

That's what this thread is about.

Doesn't idealism make you fuzzy wuzzy all over.

And 99% of the world doesn't already know that?

If you think that will be the lowest of the low moments, you'd better where a life preserver for the rest of the season.
