I feel like the only downside to any of this is the fact that neither of the two younger QBs will get a full season to start, and I'm not sure they needed one for a full evaluation. If Petty went 4-2 in the first 6 games and blew the tank, I'd be excited to see if he could keep it going. If McCown goes 4-2 that would be abject failure. Petty was never considered. The good news -- I don't think any of these guys are good enough to stop us from getting Sam Darnold. This offense is going to SUCK.
