Bowles can't get out of his own way. He coaches like he has an elite defense and an offense that can score quick points when he has neither. The only chance they had was to convert the 4th down and try to score with some timeouts still left in his pocket. That means that you believe the book is written on Petty. I don't. Petty is unafraid to run the ball and hold it a bit a longer to find an open man, the o-line has played well in pass protection. Plus I'd rather watch a QB throw 2 interceptions going for 40 yard bombs than 1 interception the only time the qb tries to throw the ball more than 15 yards.
