Why do we need the first overall pick?

This is a QB loaded draft. The Jets dont need the top pick to get a good QB. So dont bitch about winning a game with the young talent performing well

Ehh I think so too, but up until that last game he was pretty shaky... We forget quickly, but he has 4 INTs on some BAD throws.

You just don't know.

Jets need a supertalent that can overcome derelict coaching.

Project QBs have zero chance here.

Anyone see the game DeShaun Watson had today? Despite the fact that the Texans lost (because of the a$$hole refs, by the way), he looked great. We could have had him at 6. Instead, we pick a safety, which was a position in need but it's alot easier to pick up a solid safety than a franchise QB.

This is like asking why did we need the first pick in 2009 when we picked Sanchez at #5 and Stafford was the first pick

Everyone should know we're signing McCown to a 2 year 24mil deal. with another draft and some FAs will be a lock for a .500 season.

then Mac and Bowles get 4 year extensions.

We're going to be competitive baby!

YOU GOT IT.

If we had picked Watson and he struggled you would be leading the "how did we pass on Adams? Group". It's easy to complain after the fact. Hindsight makes everyone a little bit smarter.
