T0mShane
In retrospect, when you consider the following: The incredible advantages of Spygate Deflategate Various other elements of cheating (dead headsets, etc) Best coach ever, even if he's an unscrupulous hack. LITERALLY EVERY sh*tTY BACKUP LOOKS AMAZING IN THAT SYSTEM AND NOWHERE ELSE. Pats defense has been consistently good. Pennington having to suffer under the idiocy of Herm Edwards. Every backup Pennington had imploded when given playing time. I think the following statement is absolutely 100% true: If Chad Pennington was drafted by the Patriots he would have won more championships for the Patriots than Tom Brady. Conversely, if Tom Brady was drafted by literally any other team, he would have disappeared into obscurity.

TuscanyTile2
Btw, this argument really should have been: Pennington Vs Brady Vs Matt Simms I'll choose the latter any day.

Yes, because he was hurt. The only time he was healthy was 2002 and he was great. We jut happened to run into the best team in the AFC on the road in the playoffs and lost to the better team. The only other season he started b4 the shoulder injury was 2004 when we started 6-1 and were one of the best teams in the league. Then the injury happened and he was never able to throw the ball the same again.

PatsFanTX
Teams Jets in 2002 and Fins in 2008.. Are you doing back flips over something that occurred 14 years ago? Hell, your Vette story in 1969 blows that away.
CaliforniaJet
If Penny would've cheated like Brady then he would have some rings, you could say that about anyone. Imagine Manning if he had cheated, would've had like 12 rings.
