Get there early tailgate but save room the food inside is great, especially if you can get into the TD club but I think you need certain MEZZ tickets. Souvenirs are very expensive not worth it. Sit in front of your car and soak in the tailgate atmosphere, maybe talk with your neighbors for a few hours. It's unique to this sport and one of the best things about football. Pack up and head to the building at least one hour before. This will allow you to not get jammed at the gate close to kickoff and allow a walk around the outside concourse to see all the corny Jets stuff they have set up. Make sure you are in your seats well before kickoff. Stay in your seat for every play. Leave leisurely at the end and have a post tailgate ready to wait out the horrendous traffic at the end of games. Parking lots open five hours prior to kickoff. It is highly recommended to arrive early as the closer it gets to kickoff, the more crowded the roadways and parking lots will become. Parking lots close two hours after the end of the game. Can I tailgate? 1.) If you have a large tailgate party, stadium management strongly encourages you to arrive early and use the grass berms and paved areas on the islands located between the parking lots. Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in areas where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited.
