1. Not many people will like this but too bad. Moral victory for the Jets today complete with an apparent screwing by the refs. Young team make mistakes that you can’t do against New England. They’ll learn.

2. Jamal Adams got taken to school today. Learn from it and get better.

3. Josh McCown did enough to keep starting him and enough to know that the Jets need to draft a QB next year.

4. Patriots beat the worst team in the NFL by 7 points and needed the refs help to do it. Not good for them

Ok bad QB play too!!!!

31/47 for 350 yards 2/2 is not that bad considering he was running for his life on many plays and that we just cant run the ball. I'm neutral on McCown, some good some bad. No other QB on this team including Petty would be able to perform any better.

The Jets have the right approach on the ASJ TD that wasn't. "It was only one play and they had others they had to make that they didn't".

But the bottom line is the Jets got hosed by the Refs on that call. The NFL officiating is awful. They overanalyze plays now and in this case they took the game away from the players and decided it themselves.

Sure the Jets have plenty of things they need to work on but they lost by 7 and they got 7 points stolen from them by the refs.

And three rushes for 21 yards, keeping drives alive.

Felt like we were beat on both sides of the ball, their Dline was pressuring McCown at will and our Dline was stoned by their Oline.  Basically impossible to beat Brady under those circumstances.

As predicted the Pats couldn't stop anything over the middle, so our Tes and rbs were able to easily get open against their slow lbers.  BUt also as predicted It wasn't nearly enough. PAts should have won by more but credit to our coaching, we kept it close.  That td reversal was absolute garbage.  I guess it came from the league office, so they need to be held accountable.

in all fairness he was under considerable pressure on the second and actually nearly pulled off a great play.  you are right that the second int was worse although neither was good.

what i am hoping is that the special teams coach orders the kick off returners to stay in the end zone.  there is no sense in running the ball out to the 15 when a touchback get it to the 25.

Finding out if Petty or Hackenberg can play at all, also, does not matter apparently.

well this game was a huge test and mccown played okay but maybe not well enough to win regardless.  i was kind of hoping bowles was going to put petty in at the end of the 3rd.

They couldn’t beat Josh McCown in a QB competition. That’s enough

The point of playing a 38-year old journeyman in the habit of making a bad INT or taking a sack at the worst possible time or wasting timeouts each game is....?
