Chiefs | Edwards wants to talk to Turner

Thu, 12 Jan 2006 22:38:19 -0800

The Capital-Journal reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards confirmed he wants to speak with former Oakland Raiders head coach Norv Turner about his offensive coordinator's position. "I haven't gotten hold of Norv yet, but obviously, he's a candidate," Edwards said. "But, he'll be a candidate for a lot of teams. He's a fine coach."

Yeah, but does Norv like getting thrown under a bus at the end of the season? Does he have a shirt with good handles on the back and collar? I think the Chiefs are about to find out that coaching talent is going to want to be paid a whole bunch above average and given some job security if the Idiot is the nominal do nothing, know nothing HC.

how great norv was when he didn't run ricky when the 'fins played the pats a few years back to basically open the door for the jets to win the afc east...without a ton of hall of fame talent norm is as pedestrian as anyone...in fact, i would say give herm a few years and he'll be a poor man's norv...at least norv was around greatness when the 'boys won their rings w/ him on the staff...
