They leak the info that Woody is wants Herm out, and get screwed on the compensation package because of it.. Now they leak out the info that Mangini is their first choice, and now it makes them look desperate, and makes Mangini even more weary of coming into this situation.. Parcells ran this team like Fort Bloom; no important info was leaked.. Bradway on the other hand runs a loose ship.. One of the reasons we all want his dumb arse out.. None of these are leaks really, it's just the media doing their jobs, reading between the lines, and putting together some logic. 1)The moment you allow the Chiefs to talk compensation regarding Herm Edwards, it's known that the owner wants him out. The head coach is BY FAR the most important part of an organization. Nobody gets rid of the good ones and allows other teams to negotiate for them. Thus, once the Jets started discussions, it was eminently clear that Woody wanted to get rid of Herm. 2)Look at the candidates Terry Bradway has/is interviewing: a bunch of retread coaches, some decent coordinators, guys on the staff. Out of this mix is a 35 year old, first-year DC known as a rising star in the coaching ranks. Bradway is TRAVELING to interview this guy.
