d!ck Jauron is a good football coach. Not super but good.

Tell that to the Lions. He's not that good. He believes in bend but don't break defense, waiting for the safties to make the fumble/interception/big play. They're going to give up a ton of yards. And, he plays a conservative WCO. I'm in agreement with Max.

The Lions are garbage and have been since Barry Sanders played. You wanna blame Jauron?

The man is a former player who has 20 years in coaching. He did a great job as the DC in Jacksonville and a he was good with a sh*tty Bears team. as a matter of fact he has taken over some terrible teams. Id say poor job selection hurt him. Not coaching.

Maybe Im nuts but Dick Jauron is a damn good football coach

You're right... you're nuts.

He was ran out of Chicago. He plays a very soft defense. I've watched it for two years. It's not any good. And he was a former Lion. That doesn't speak well. To say he didn't have talent on the Lions defense is just wrong. Shaun Rogers, Dre Bly, Earl Holmes, Kennoy Kennedy, Terrance Holt, Fernando Bryant, Dan Wilkenson, James Hall, Boss Bailey... and they were forced to play a soft defense. Bryant and Bly would be better suited for a man to man. Kennedy would be better closer to the line, like he played in Denver.

What am I saying? He tried to fit square pegs into round holes. This hire was a good thing for Jets fans.

I hope you're right on this one

Dick Jauron is in the same class of head coaches as Bruce Coslet.

Only Bruce was somewhat exciting and made you laugh every once in awhile. Not just because of that bad haircut either.
