Garb
All yesterday did was prove to me that the Pats gift wrapped that game and gave it to Denver. Pitt would have lost to the Pats in Gillette. My gut tells me so. Alas, we shall never know. All I know is that I will be bombarded with Jerome Bettis stories for the next two weeks. So much so, I am sure it will eventually induce vomitting. Go Seattle!

Garb
I disagree. Pats fans have witnessed three SB championships. Many Jets fans weren't even born when the Jets won theirs. Anyway, my point is.....three Lombardi trophies cushion the fall - weird, I know.

Hate to break it to you honey, but the Broncos were the better team.
Garb
..The Pats turned the ball over 5 times....which led to 24 points. Yes, if a team turns the ball over THAT much, they deserve to lose...even if they outgain their opponent by 200 yards. I will stand by my statement. The Pats would have beat Pitt at Gillette. Which of course, means nothing. I will cheer on Lofa Tatupu and his Seattle Seahawks on February 5, 2006.

Garb, you predicted this loss so you were well aware that the 05 PATS were a mediocre team that benefited from a soft 2nd half schedule. Every team in the post season with the exception of Jacksonville and Tampa would have beat the PATS. You lost.... show some class and give Denver credit ....Pats fans are becoming just like "some" Yankee fans...always talking about past accomplishents once they are eliminated. Garb
....I predicted the loss because the Pats always play terribly against Denver. History....it's about history. Pats always have a hard time with Miami too - its just the way it is. No explanation really. I am stating what I believe to be true. What is so unclassy about that? Pitt deserves to be in the SB and Pats deserve to be home - you turn the ball over that much - I would expect nothing else. That said, no one here can convince me that the Pats did not have the best run defense in the playoffs. Additionally, and mainly, as a Pats fan, I had to deal with idiot Pitt fans (StillerPaul is a wonderful exception) for the past few years (at Patsfans.com) - you know, fans that would wish a severed spine on Tom Brady with unabashed enthusiasm (not kidding). So sorry if I do not like the Steelers fanbase much.

Come on Shelter, The Pats were the much better team last weekend. The only reason they lost is because they handed the Broncos 5 gifts and all those poor calls by the refs. That's the only reason why the Pats aren't playing (and easily winning) Super Bowl XL. How's that Shelter.

Poor calls by the refs the only call I will give you is the PI call on samuel in the Endzone. Other than that, the calls were fine. Brady looked off, Vinitari looked off. The only people who came to play were the Pats D. Denver was and looked like the better team.
