twinjetfan
Wow 30 pounds? Wouldn't that put him under 300?
124
I think it puts him at 300 seeing as he was 330 coming out last season. Robertson also dropped weight from 317 down to 310.

And a lot more to OL'ing than having a 350 pound a$$. Sorry Clemmons fans, your boy is one-dimensional and destined for the practice squad. jetophile
TC is to shake off the rust and/or find your way in the first place. You know, PRACTICE, when it doesn't COUNT AGAINST US. I'm far more concerned for Pennington here. Weak passes are an early indicator of where he is in rehab, not what he's lacking in the classroom. He's a smart guy, remember. We'll see, but it isn't anything more than conjecture right now. Good for Mangini and company for keeping a lid on things in general.
snow_monkey
Sorry Clemmons fans, your boy is one-dimensional and destined for the practice squad. He'll do just fine as a starting QB. Just not quite yet. At least he won't get cut before the start of the regular season like Brooks Bollinger.

Maybe Fred Jetstone is right and Brooks Bollinger is our QB of the future.
jetophile
Kellen Clemens sucks. HAH. TC just started and Clemens has already meteored to the zenith of his career and crashed and burned in the basement. He'll be a clerk at the Dairy Queen slinging sundaes before the season starts, no doubt.
Maxman
Sorry Clemmons fans, your boy is one-dimensional and destined for the practice squad. Um there are like 20+ other teams that would make sure that never happened.

Even you know they can't put Clemens on the practice squad. You don't put secondround picks on the practice squad so someone can grab him off it the next day and the jets are out all that money. I appreciate your Bolly stance but when it comes time for someone to go.................
Sperm Edwards
I look at this a different way: Clemens had BETTER struggle a little. Because if he doesn't, that means, right now - Clemens is 10x the QB that Joe Montana was (clearly not the case) - Our defense stinks on ice if a rookie who hasn't played a game since November hasn't struggled a little against them. If he's not struggling at all there's little point in watching our defense in a real game.
