Green DNA
The Vikings certainly have the horses on D. All they need now is a coordinator.
faba
The comments that really make me annoyed about Cottrell are where he states he wants to look good to get a head coaching job- just do your job and utilize your players correctly and maybe you will have a chance Ted

Green DNA
Blast Old Fat Ted all you want but believe it or not in 02 the Jets were 14th in points allowed and 8th in 03!! That may be true, but they could NEVER get a stop on third down and could not stop the run to save their lives. The D under Fat Ted is responsible for a lot of damage to remotes and various pieces of furniture in my house. Stats can be misleading sometimes. The game against the Raiders in 2003 had to be one of the worst times beside the Gastineau incident in watching the Jets for me-they ran and ran it and we knew they were going to run and still could not stop them. Teddy has to take some blame along with the players.

Farm Implement
Stats can be misleading sometimes?? I totally agree!! Just like a RB that can't run against good Teams!! This was the only knock against CM as a Patriot. In big games he wasn't consistant enough to be a major threat. He still can't run roughshod over a good defense! Goal line? Ain't happening! But if you want to give your Boy Hermie credit for the Playoffs Ted was part of that just like Hackett was..If we made it to the playoffs with a OC and DC that sucked but actually had something to do with Game plans do you suppose the HC could Suck also when all he does is Slap Butts and BBQ??
