There was no Panthers to pull for when I was growing up so I was a Skins fan back in the day and still today he remains my favorite player of all time. I also heard Riggins say that the reason he left the Jets is because they based the hole offense around Namath and that he would never get a chance to show what he could do as long as Joe was there.Any thoughts on this? The Jets did not want to pay him, so he signed with the Skins. Time will tell if they made a similar blunder by letting Jordan walk while riding an aging Curtis Martin. But to be fair Riggens was even Nutty by early 70's standards!!Even though Joe is my favorite Jet of all time,he was featured to much just as Martin is today!! I like balance in a Team!
