With training camps opening at the end of the month, all 32 teams will have jobs on the line, jobs for which they will need young players to step up in order to have a chance for a successful season.

That includes the playoff teams from a year ago. Nobody in this cap era, even in the top tier, is immune from needing young players in key spots.

Wilfork should prove to be a major upgrade over Traylor and will once again prove the Patriots to be one of the best drafting teams. This guy was one of our favorites coming out in 2004, and we won't back away from that. New England stole him.

Kinda like how the Jets stole DFat.

Pats continue to get all the praise from certain media guys- hey they have won it all 3 out of 4 years so no one can take those accomplishments away-

New year slate is clean- and Wilfork is greatly exaggerated by Prisco here

Only difference is D-Rob has gotten recognition from caoches and exec's around the league, Wilfat only got it from you, Shasta & Prisco

Wrong again old wise one.

The only difference is Wilfork was a "steal" at #20 while DFat cost the Jets two 1st round picks and a 4th.

For that price, he should have been an All-Pro for the last two years. He wasn't.

only in your little world Tx..can you name a 1st round DT or NT that made All-Pro his first year? I guess all those 1st rounders were busts also..

You are missing my point 13.

The price the Jets paid for DFat was HUGE compared with what the Pats paid for Wilfork.

The difference in their performance on the field is no where as WIDE as the cost of each player.

Once again, the Jets pay a premium and the Pats get a bargain.

no Tx I get your point, the Jets screwed up..thats all you ever say..that is your entire point of your miserable little life..but WHEN D-Rob makes the Pro Bowl and plays a dominating part of the Jets Dee for years to cum it will prove you wrong won't it? Meanwhile Wilfat has done nothing & will probably eat himself out of a job before his rookie contract even expires...

and I guess the patsies* blew their #1 since Wilfat didn't make the pro bowl either...GIVE IT A REST TX
