vinnys025 Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Well folks, many of you might be happy to hear that i'm hanging it up this year. There are three reasons for this. My wife and I are transitioning out of the military in less than 3 weeks, so its going to be crazy around here, especially since we have a newborn baby. Another reason why i'm hanging it up is because we are going to be living at the In laws for a few months so.....well, yeah, I really dont have to say much more about that. Third reason is because there is no incentive this year to get good. I would always want to get great for the Madden Challenge, but come to find out that its going to be played on the Xbox this year, so i'm out. I will step aside and make room for a new champ. I'm hanging it up this year, but I will be back strong for Madden 07 when I have my own place and i'm settled in with my new job. Good luck LL, LLB, Bitonti...ect.... one of you will be the new champ. PS...my internet will be out in a week so I will be gone for a while till I get internet in my new place. Didn't get Madden last year, but I will be getting it this year, so if it's a PS2 league, I'm in. I only play with one team, Gang Green. For better or worse. (Unless we draft teams as in the past...) This new feature - the QB vision cone, looks pretty interesting... Should make the passing game a bit tougher.. Since I didn't get last year's, I'll have a bit of a handicap using the Hit Stick, but I make no excuses, I'll give it my best shot. I'll be watching for the announcement. I will tentatively say that I would be down for a league but it would have to be on the PS2 as that's the only system that I have. Of course I would want to play as the Patriots but I would be flexible since I'm sure there would be some that would have a problem with me using the best team in the game.
