SlugORama99
Got mine today....along with a letter stating that Stub Hub is no longer the "official marketplace" for New York Jets tickets. Instead, it is Ticketmaster. The thing I don't like about this is that if you sell them to "a loyal Jet fan at face value", your season ticket barcodes are cancelled and you receive credit into your season ticket account. What this means to me is that you don't actually get the money in your hands, but instead they hold onto it for you, draw interest on it and credit it toward your account next season. Does this make sense? Are there similar policies in place for other NFL teams? Just wondering. I posted this here because it's not an offer to sell tickets, but merely intended to spark an intense debate.
4HCrew
I got mine today and think the change over to ticketmaster is a joke. It is a way to charge more (15% surcharge) and you do not even get the money in your hand. It is nice to be able to get the tickets at a decent cost but find it hard to believe the Jets could not figure out a better arrangement for their "loyal fans"

To sell the tix the fee is only 5%. The advantage is if whoever buys the tix starts a fight in your section etc, you are NOT responsible. So you are protected from liability. The nicest feature is you can forward the tix to anyone you want electronically. Up to 2 hours before the game. That fee is only $1.95 You can also manage your season ticket account through this service, which eliminates having to write a leter with address changes etc.
