Smizzy Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 Jets | Edwards Addresses Law Situation Thu, 28 Jul 2005 16:33:48 -0700 Josh Stewart, of the Long Island Press, reports New York Jets head coach Herman Edwards addressed a question about the Jets possibly acquiring free agent CB Ty Law (Patriots). The coach hasn't talked with Law, but described contact as "A-B-C conversations," inferring that Law was the A and Edwards was the C, with someone in the middle. Edwards said that Law may not sign with anyone for a couple of weeks simply because if any veteran NFL corner gets injured during the different training camps, it would shoot his stock way up.
