Smizzy
LIKING LAW: Defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson weighed in on the Ty Law sweepstakes, saying he'd love to have him - if he drops his asking price. In fact, Henderson mentioned the word "price" four times in a span of about 20seconds. Still, Law is mighty enticing. "He's probably got a chance to be a Hall of Famer when all is said and done," said Henderson, adding that Law's coverage ability would allow the Jets to play more man-to-man. HARD-HITTING: There were two scary moments in the morning practice. In an 11-on-11 drill, which was supposed to have no tackling, RB Curtis Martin was drilled to the ground by DE Shaun Ellis. On the next play, QB Jay Fiedler went down hard when DT Dewayne Robertson rolled his legs. Neither player was hurt. CANDID COLES: Coles recalled the first time he saw Wayne Chrebet on the field. He wasn't impressed. "The first time I came in (as a rookie in 2000), I called my mom and said, 'Mom, I'll be starting in a week.'"
