Smizzy Posted August 1, 2005 Share Posted August 1, 2005 Jets | Edwards Admits Pennington Had Mon, 1 Aug 2005 12:35:42 -0700 Dave Hutchinson, of the Star-Ledger, reports New York Jets head coach Herman Edwards admitted QB Chad Pennington (shoulder) had "big-time" surgery for the first time Sunday, July 31. Pennington had thrown passes Sunday for the third straight day. Edwards said he planned to talk to Pennington to see if he'll throw again Monday, Aug. 1, or rest. "I expect him to practice (Monday)," Edwards said. "He's told you, he's not 100 percent. He had "big-time" surgery. You have to come back and he's ahead of schedule.
