Smizzy
Jets: Pennington throwing ducks by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Monday, August 1, 2005 News Chad Pennington's arm is showing expected weakness as he attempts to come back from rotator cuff surgery. On Sunday, Pennington threw for the third straight day for the first time since undergoing surgery in February, and the results weren't pretty. He underthrew both of his attempted deep passes of around 40 yards, just as he did his lone long throw on Saturday. "That's going to happen and that's okay," coach Herm Edwards told the Newark Star-Ledger. "I'd rather him to do that than sit there and go, 'Okay, I'm just going to throw 10-yard outs, 15-yard outs and not throw the ball down the field.' Because at the end of the day, the more he does, the better he's going to understand where he's at throwing the ball
Matt39
I'm more confident in Fiedler.
TomShane
That's a clear snatch-n-grab from the Hutch article. I'm worried that Penny is having problems getting it 40 yards downfield (Just got word that Coleman INT'ed Chad AGAIN just 10 mins ago), but I'll wait and see if he's still struggling two weeks from now.
