I just finished watching the game and I think this kid will be our starting CB opposite Revis by sometime in September-maybe not opening day but Justin Miller isn't one half the corner that this kid is. He LOOKS like a football player. Also, Brad Smith and Wallace Wright especially; Watch Yo Ass...Palm Beach County's #17 David Clowney can not only run, and catch but he is also a gunner on ST's. I also like Renkhart the kid from Rutgers at LBer...me and Drago already have started the Brett Ratliff fan club with Greengal also a member...

The more competition the better for us at CB- we need someone to seize the opportunity there opposite Revis.

Barrett is as good as gone IMO...Drew, Carroll, Miller, and especially Lowrey actually excite me as a fan

Barrett should be as good as gone. He's not a starting Cornerback in this league and he's scheduled to make $3.6 million. There is too much young competition to keep Barrett around to be the third or fourth Cornerback. They drafted Lowery for a reason. He or Miller will be the starting CB opposite Revis on Opening Day with Coleman and Poteat (and maybe a 6th corner) to back them up.

Don't forget about Hank's very impressive Interception last night.

that's right Poteat-that veteran presence...I am liking what I am seeing back there..Smith and Elam you figure again Joe opposite Mister Will-be-going-to-The-pro-Bowl-this year?

I'll be dissapointed if miller only does special teams this year. How many corners can one team have that don't actually cover receivers? We just got rid of a QB that couldn't throw passes.

lookit md...hitting the 8 grand mark...hey Matt you heard Greengal joined the Ratliff fanclub? Oh yea, and Thor sauntered over to the meeting for the Crumb Cake....(he was escorted away)

I did hear GG joined, too bad she didn't want to put up with our initiation..oh well, maybe we'll let thor do the initiation for him and her.

The one thing I actually like is our WR depth right now. I honestly like 6 of the WRs we have in camp and can see them becoming good. We just need Marcus Henry to step up and become a legit WR for us cause nobody else has height. Coles, Cotch, Stuckey, Clowney, Wright and Smith I can all see doing well.

I agree, J miller will have to settle for nickel and dime back and returning KO's with L Washington, because Lowery is to much of a play maker to keep him in the sidelines, The kid has DB instincts that cant be coached or taught . Lowery is a baller that plays like every play is coming his way. not only did he get an int he broke up alot of passes. Jets got another play maker in the 4th round . DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS I think the pats would agree:bag:

Nickel is a very important position. It is almost a starter and generally backs up both CB positions. Miller will be a very valuable member of this team if he does a solid job at nickel along with his excellent kick returning along side Leon. Same with Lowery. If he ends up being the nickel along with being the #1 punt returner, we will be in good shape. I like what I see from Coleman as the #4 CB, but everytime I forget about Poteat, he plays well. Barrett and his salary should go soon.

It is nice to have more depth at a position that we all thought was a weakness going into the season.

Yeah me too. I was going to tape it tomorrow. The guide just says chiefs, chiefs, chiefs. Ill have to catch the first half tomorrow.

I actually think watching all the kids was so much mmore interesting watch for Renkhart Lowery Coleman (I know he's no rookie)and Clowney oh yea we got some talented young fat guys on the DL

watch him drums the kid is always around where the ball is

when we were in HS there was this kid Brian who was always in the right spot for a rebound-he had this instinct to somehow know where the shot was gonna hit and when to drive in for the miss...it was uncanny...Lowrey has that...he looks like a 10 year vet out there-and this against Ken Dorsey an 8 year veteran...

cb opposite is our weakest position. miller absolutely worries me in coverage. he's a blown coverage or a pass interference waiting to happen. lowery is a baller but i don't think he's fast enough to play man coverage, especially with good receivers.

right now i don't think we have a good answer at that spot. we'll need to get a good pass rush to disguise the weakness of the secondary.

there's a darkness about Justin Miller-I can't put my finger on it exactly but when you watch this kid Lowery Rick and it's sunshine, blue skies and smiles-there's a joy about him. Miller IS that criticial pass interference call waiting to happen. I don't normally go on like this about a football player but I'm telling you I got a feeling about this kid-a good one

I am sure Clowney got Favre's attention the other night.

he's the fastest guy on the team isn't he? I think I saw an article or an SNY interview with Leon saying they may be tied...that's Favre football...just like we used to play in the sandlot...."OK, and Clowney-you go LONGGGGGG and I'll heave it out there"

I like him...I am very excited about him...but it is just one preseason game...but it does look very good !

anybody who wasn't ready last week can still jump on the train....Justin Miller sucks OK? and Barrett is Barrett....Drew is OK and I'm still a fan rooting but Lowery WILL be the opening day starter

I hope you're right, SoFla. Lowery is a football player - this kids 40 times does not matter much, he plays fast.
