Hey now, Katey's looking good these days! Ron Perlman? Not so much. :shutit:

No question she is cute. Can one say she is a MILF without being derogatory? If so, then Katey is a MILF. If not, let's say she is an attractive California doyenne. BTW, I was commenting on her acting chops, which are marginal in my opinion.

She's a cougar, no?!!! She's sexy though, without seeing boobs... but I bet there will be some nudity, there always is in these edgy shows. :deshade:

ok I'll tune in then. looks like it could be a decent show. was that ron perlman in we are marshall? He did an awesome job in that role

This was the only thread I could find on the show...back when it first started.  Crazy.

This is the most underrated show in the history of TV.  It's so damn good.

Anyone as obsessed as I am?

I've got a man crush on Jax Teller the size of Crusher's belly (but not as big as a man crush that I have on Crusher).  He' so dreamy.

I'm sorta pissed because they are running this final 7th season and the sixth has not hit netflix yet.  Gives me sad because its one of my favorite shows.  ZERO dead space in this show.  Every single episode has you on the edge of your seat.  Amazing.

Yay!!!  My Muffin Top loves it too!!!  I knew you'd respond...I just knew it.

I ******* love this show.  Its up there for me...like top 3.  There are just so many episodes that leave you drop dropped by the sh*t Jax pulls off.

SPOILER ALERT The best being the end of season 3 or 4, cant remember...where you think Jax rolled on the boys and then the car drives by the paddy wagon, honks and they all start laughing.  SO ******* GOOD.  Had no clue that was coming.

I wont ruin it for you but season 6 leaves a crazy cliff hanger and Jax was as bad as he's ever been in last night seasons premier.

Nolderp gave me this link for when I was catching up on Breaking Bad.  You can find SOA on here too.

Awesome.  My favorite scene was when I thought Jax was going to off Tig and let Tig revenge his daughters death instead. I thought for sure Tig was done for. Jax is the man.

Only downside with SOA is you cant watch it before you go to bed.  My brain needs about two hours to downshift after I watch it.

I still watch it every week, but I'm not as into it as I used to be. The first three or four seasons were great; It was like a modern-day Hamlet set in the biker world. Ever since they killed off Opie it seems to me like it's gone downhill and gotten away from the character dynamics that made it likable in the first place. Every episode now just seems like it's trying to out-gore and out-gasp the previous one.

That said, I'm gonna finish it off; I need to see how things play out.

Tig is my favorite...after Jax, of course.

Disagree...I think they've introduced some great characters since his death, like Nero.  Love that dude.  Patterson is starting to open up.  Toric was awesome.  Last night they intro'd another rockstar into the show.  Just awesome, still IMO.

..but I will agree, those first 4 season were unreal.  But the way this new season started...phew...its going to be great.

I just watched the latest episode and...eh, I don't know, it's just too much. I used to love it, but the show has jumped the shark in the past few seasons and just seems to be bordering on ridiculous.

Without going into too many of the recent plot details--I don't want to spoil it for anyone who's not caught up--I just have to roll my eyes every time the gang goes out to "settle a score" or whatever and ends up annihilating 50 people in broad daylight with absolutely no repercussions whatsoever.

Even more annoying, when one of the Sons needs something from another crew it turns into a series of "favors" that serves no other purpose than to fill time and give an excuse to pile up the body count even higher. It reminds me of those tedious "fetch quests" in video games.

They could have had some good emotional build-up to this most recent climax (you know the one if you've seen the latest episode), but there are so many other muddy and convoluted plot-lines going on that there's no time for it.

Damn shame, too. The first few seasons were great.

Just my opinion, though. I still watch it every week and there are a lot of things I really like about the show.

Fair take. That's what keeps it interesting for me. All the sh*t that pops up in each episode, introducing new twists, characters and layers. Love it.

As far as it being unrealistic, it's TV. Haha. It would be boring otherwise.

In the same boat.

The murders and prison ass rape has gotten beyond ridiculous.

Seems like Kurt Sutter has a solid story arc thorugh Opie and then Clay's deaths, and didn't know quite how to end things other than to torture us with way too much of his real life wife.

Watched Peaky Blinders on your recommendation.  Outstanding show once you get use to the period.  But?  8 episodes per season?  Need more soon.

The BBC has a totally different production model time wise. Trying to watch "The Game" featuring Brian Cox(the 1st Hannibal Lecter-also "Braveheart""Super Troopers", "Deadwood"), which is really good; about MI6 in the 1970s, very gritty London setting, the IRA, Soviets vs. the west, traitors. A lot like "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy". But same problem; the season finale is next week, no idea when you'll see another season.

SOA is exactly the opposite with 12 episodes a season with 2 hour episodes. God only knows how long next week's SOA finale will clock in at.

Might take a look at that.  Peaky Blinders took me 4 episodes to figure out what the hell they were saying.  but once you get a feel for it the writing and acting is really addicting.  The slow and steady evolution of the family was really well done.

Loved it. Poetic ending.

Great show. It's definitely up there in my favorites of all time. Jax Teller is iconic. I think they did an incredible job of keeping it suspenseful at every new introduction to the plot and never letting their audience down each episode.

Going to miss it but loved the closure. That's one I will watch again from start to finish at some point.

I thought it was a very good ending appropriate with what Jax had come to realize over the last part of the season.

I think Walking Dead could learn from SOA.  While I agree the series had few ups and downs episode to episode, I like that Sutter was able to go beyond 60 minutes during the last season.  It allowed him to cover all his bases.  While I tend to agree there are some moments which rolled your eyes, the show killed it for the most part.

Agreed.  Yeah, there were some over the top ridiculous moments to the show (many shows can say the same) but at the end of the day, thats what keep it full throttled.  The writers never feared going to far, kept their foot on the gas and thats what I thought made it great.

Its top 3 for me.  Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Sons of Anarchy.
