Preston Howley III
I'm really looking forward to finally seeing what the 2005 Jets run D does in the first exhibition game, on Aug 12, against the Lions. I know everbody is real giddy and all about the fracas is Albany yesterday, but when all is said and done, that extracaricular activity doesn't win championships; STOPPING THE RUN, DOES! I didn't even know who their RB was, but after checking out their website, I must say I'm rather impressed with him: 2004:
RSJ
I agree this will be a great game to get a feeling where the Jets run D is at this point.
faba
The first exhibition game-the regulars will hardly play- i always like to see the jets and their players do well but Jones probably will not even play for the Lions. Last year the whole defense was good we got burned through the air in a couple of games -this is the area we have to shore up in my opinion

I guess we really won't get a feel for the Jets run D until they play Big Blew.
