Jetlag
I was watching Ty Law's interview today and Trey Wingo asked him "What is the biggest difference between Herm and Bill?" Paraphrasing Ty: Well Herm used to play so he can relate to players a lot better, ya know. Bill is more about intelligent playcalling and schemes. Although in Herm's defense Law did make it sound like a big reason he wanted to be here was due to Herm and his style of coaching. Bugg
What ever. Who ever writes the check would get LAw's fealty. Which isn't to say he's lying, just being a team player.
TomShane
1) I can't believe someone used the word "fealty" on here. Awesome. 2) Herm is retarded.

How about Donnie Henderson's Defense!! What he said was Tuna knows Football and Hermie is a Great Guy to be buddies with! I agree you probley couldn't find a better friend then Herman Edwards..But that doesn't make him a Great Coach!!

Preston Howley III
Memo to Jets beat writers: WE GET IT. HERM'S A GREAT GUY. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PEPPER EVERY SINGLE ARTICLE WITH OBLIGATORY HERM'S A GREAT GUY QUOTES. Really, it's gone into overkill. Face it fellas, if this team lay's an egg this year, the gravy train is over; no more press passes, book deals, dibs on the shrimp at the press conference buffet et al. Kiss Herm's butt until your lips fall off for all the good it's going to do in year five. Oh yeah, did I mention Herm's a great guy?
Savage69
"Bill" = Bellicheck not Parcells. Works with Big Bill or Little Bill no difference Football wise..Now if were Talking putting Scrimp on the BBQ..

D.Henderson and Hermidinger better be at the top of their game if we want to get to Detroit. Herm just needs to be a witness.

TomShane
Herm, being interviewed during Super Bowl week: Q: So Herm, what's the game plan heading into the big game? Herm: I don't know! They won't tell me!
